The Fuji Racing dampened oil pickup pipe, fitted with their Anti Surge Adapter is a product that every engine build or rebuild should think about utilising.
Oil surge on the Subaru Boxer engine is a well documented problem, and the dampened pickup can greatly reduce this issue.
Designed to ensure that the Anti Surge adaptor always sits as low as possible into the sump, which means that even during spirited driving, the pickup should always be able to supply the oil needed by your engine.
Another massive benefit is the foot sits against the original sump, reducing vibration and helping to avoid fractures known to occur on Subaru oil pickup pipes.
